The Ethiopian U-20 national team have decided to camp in Adama starting from this Sunday to prepare for the return leg of the African U-20 Nations Cup qualifiers against Ghana.
The ‘Junior Walias’ have beaten Ghana 2-1 in the first leg courtesy of goals from the inform striker Ame Mohammed. The national side will be assembled this Sunday to commence preparation at Adama.
It is expected that coach Girma Habteyohannis will summon some players from the side that beat Somalia in the preliminary round.
The U-20 side will play Mali U-20 in a friendly fixture next week. Although it is not known where and when the two sides play the friendly game, it would be beneficial for coach Girma and his charges to face Mali before the Ghana test.
The winner of Ethiopia and Ghana will play either Senegal or Tunisia. Senegal managed to shock Tunisia 2-1 in Tunis as they take advantage to the second leg in Dakar.
