Oumed Okuri Joins El-Entag El-Harby

Egyptian top tier side El-Entag El-Harby have completed the signing of Ethiopian international Omued Okuri on a free transfer.

Oumed left ENPPI on a mutual consent after failing to get playing time with petroleum company club.

El-Entag El-Harby signed Oumed on a one year contract. The 2013/14 Ethiopian Premier League Most Valuable Player award recipient Oumed was searching for a new club after a dispute with ENPPI left him in plight. The ex Mekelakeya and Kidus Giorgis forward only joined ENPPI at the start of the season with a 4 years contract as he bagged a single goal throughout the season. ENPPI and Oumed ended their contact amicably.

El-Entag El-Harby, established in 2004, managed to finish the 2015/16 league season 7th. The Cairo based club is coached by AfCON winner player and coach Shawky Gharieb. Oumed previously played for Al Ittihad Alexandria before switching to ENPPI.
