​Legetafo Crowned National League Champions

Legetafo Ketema pip Arada K/Ketema 1-0 to lift the 2015/16 season National League title in Batu. Shire Endaselassie won the third place playoff against Welkite Ketema. 
Lidetu Lema’s successful spot kick was enough for Legetafo Ketema to win the title over an impressive Arada K/Ketema side. 

Shire Endaselassie emerged victorious 2-1 over Welkita Ketema to take the third spot. Goals from Seid Hussien and Bekeri Mahmoud struck for the North Ethiopia side. Israel Fikiru got the only goal for Welkite Ketema.

The Federation gave accolades for the triumphed teams and players. Jibril Nasser of Arada K/Ketema won the Most Valuable Player award as Shire Endaselassie goalie Teklay Berhe took home the goalkeeper of the tourney award. Former Ethiopian U-17 national team coach Yared Tolera named coach of the season after guiding Legetafo to the National League triumph and promotion to the Higher League. Biniam Getachew of Ambricho received the top goal scoring award and prize money after he bagged 14 goals. The fair play award went to Addis Ababa outfit Arada K/Ketema.

Six clubs have already sealed a place in the next season’s Higher League. Legetafo Ketema, Arada K/Ketema, Shire Endaselassie, Welkite Ketema, Kaffa Bunna and Dila Ketema will participate in the Higher League for the 2016/17 season.
