Woldia and Addis Ababa Ketema have won promotion to the Ethiopian premier league on Friday as they follow Fasil Ketema and Jimma Aba Bunna to the topflight league.
Woldia beat relegation battlers Mugher Cement 2-1 in Melka Qole to clinch a place in the 2016/17 premier league season with 3 games on hand.
Woldia, who were relegated in 2014/15 season, returned to the top tier after a brief spell in the Higher League. 2012/13 Ethiopian premier league coach of the year Nigusse Desta guided the club back to the league in his first season with the club.
Addis Ababa Ketema is the fourth club to grab promotion to the league after brushing aside Federal Police 2-0. Renowned coach Seyoum Kebede led the capital club to a historic first ever promotion. Addis Ababa Ketema established five years ago under the capital city administration.
Fasil Ketema, Woldia SC, Jimma Aba Bunna and Addis Ababa Ketema are the four clubs that will compete in the premier league next season as the league expanded to 16.
