Egypt pilled on the pressure after conceding but the playing pitch of the Dire Dawa Stadium put them in plight. The hosts took a slander lead to the second half.
Harar City’s Abubakher completed his brace five minutes after the recess. Abubakher capitalized on a defense howler from the Egyptians. Egypt ultimately pulled one back in the 86th minute through a Hazem Faraghaly free kick. Ethiopian goalie Ogna Oumgna was at fault for the goal.
