Egypt Premier League side Petrojet have extended the contract of Ethiopian international Shemeles Bekele for another two years.
Egyptian agent Abdulrahman Magdy, who happened to represent the ex Hawassa Ketema and Kidus Giorgis player, broke the news on his Instagram page.
The talented attacking midfielder put pen to paper a lucrative two years deal with the Oil company club.
Shemeles managed to score six goals, including a hat-trick, and assisted ones during the 2015/16 Egyptian Premier League season. The player had been contemplating to leave Petrojet after failing out on the pecking order. Nonetheless, his performance in the last couple of games is believed to trigger the change in heart as he extended his stay for another two years.
Shemeles have played in Libya and Sudan before piling his trade in Egypt. The player is well known for being skillful and technician.
According to reports emerging from Egypt, Oumed Okuri is also roumerd to join Petrojet as he will be reunited with his former teammate Shemeles.
