ArbaMinch Ketema FC board has decided to relieve first team trainer Paulos Tsegaye on immediate effect following the Crocodiles home loss to Dire Dawa Ketema on Thursday.
The board reprehended coach Paulos for the recent poor form as they conclave sacked the trainer earlier tonight. Paulos took over the helm of ArbaMinch after Alemayehu Abayeneh left his post at the South Ethiopian outfit. Under his tenure ArbaMinch avoided relegation in the 2015/16 season. The team stared off the current league season on the wrong foot but improved on December leaving ArbaMinch the most consistent side of the month. Nevertheless, ArbaMinch struggled to get positive results in the second round. They lost two home games in a row to relegation battlers Ethiopia Nigd Bank and Dire Dawa Ketema. Those losses coupled with fans protest induced the Paulos’s dismissal.
ArbaMinch Ketema’s former midfielder and assistant coach Bereket Demu has now been appointed interim manager of the club.
