​Ethiopian U-17 Girls Team Enters Residential Camp

Newly appointed Ethiopian U-17 girls national team coach Selam Zereay has summoned a provisional 36 girl’s squad for the upcoming FIFA Girls U-17 World Cup African zone qualifier game against neighbors Kenya. South American nation Uruguay is hosting the junior girls world cup in 2018. 
The team have commenced preparation on Saturday, September 30 in the capital. The qualifier game will be in October. The Ethiopian Football Federation have appointed Lideta Sub City FC coach Bizuayehu Wada as an assistant coach while Ethiopia Bunna goalie coach Wubeshet Dessalegn taking on the goalkeeper coach role.

Coach Selam will be cutting the squad to 24 team squad in the week coming before the doubleheader against Kenya.
