Ethiopian National Team Axed 3 Players

Ethiopian national team axed 3 players from The Walias squad ahead of African Cup of Nations game against Seychelles.

According to EFF head coach Yohannes Sahle made the decision to dismiss Kidus Giorgis duo Saladhin Bargicho and Natnael Zeleke and striker Ramkel Lok. The players were in Addis for personal reason.

According to the Federation they stayed at the capital too long leaving coach Yohannes to make the decision. The national team is in BahirDar for preparation and the dismissed players missed much of the preparation. As stated by EFF the scenario is counted as an act of quitting the national team.

Natnael Zeleke only made it to Yohannes’s squad few weeks ago. He was an integral part of Mariano Barreto’s Walias squad. Saladhin Bargicho played 3 games for the national team after Yohannes took over. Ramkel Lok, rumored to join reigning champions Kidus Giorgis, played competitive games for Walias under Yohannes Sahle.
