The Ethiopian U-17 national side will be participating in the third edition of the CECAFA U-17 Championship. The regional tourney returns following a nine years inactivity as Burundi set to host the eight team competition in mid April.
The Red Foxes under coach Temesgen Dana have been in residential camp as they prepare for the tournament which serves as qualifier for the Total African U-17 Nations Cup which is due in Tanzania.
Ethiopia are pitted in Group A against hosts Burundi, Kenya and Somalia. They will kick start the campaign against Somalia.
Previous winners Sudan are in Group B alongside Zanzibar, Uganda and Tanzania.
