Loza Abera once again bagged a brace in BOV Women’s League Matchday 2 as Birkirkara Fc hammered Kirkop United Fc 7-1 at the Dingli Grounds.
“The Stripes” made only three changes from the side that run riot against Hibernians in the opening weekend as Ethiopian import once again regained her spot in the starting 11 for the second week running.
In the 15th minute Loza opened the scoring for the visitors with a stunner and also scored the second on 40th minute in a five goal thriller first half in favor of Birkirkara Fc making her tally in to 4 goals in two games.
Meanwhile Kailey Willis who also scored a brace last week was also on the Score sheet along with Veronique Mifsud, Ann-Marie Said, Ylenia Carabott, Tracy Teuma for the reigning BOV Women’s League Champions.
After only two matches in to the new season Birkirkara Fc are at the summit of BOV Women’s League with 6 points and 14 goals. Loza Abera is among the leading goal scorers with 4 goals. The Ethiopian international is expected to continue with her fine form as she settles more and more in the coming weeks.
