AFCON 2021| Abraham Mebratu named 25 man squad

Wallia’s coach Abraham Mebratu has announced a 25-man squad for the upcoming 2021 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and Ivory Coast. 

25 players have been called for Madagascar and Ivory Coast task, the versatile Ethiopia Bunna player Asrat Tunjo the only newcomer to the national side. Yehun Endeshaw who recently switched to Hadiya Hossana also featured in the list after 4 years of absence.

Ethiopia will kick start its AFCON 2021 qualifiers with a tough test away from home against Madagascar on Thursday, November 14 and three days later will host Ivory Coast on Sunday, November 17 in Mekelle at the Tigray international stadium.
