Loza Abera clinched her first silverware tonight after her side trashed Mgarr United 5-0 at the BOV women’s super cup final at the National Stadium in Ta’Qali just days after scoring 7 past Hibernians.
For the third straight time, Birkirkara FC and Mġarr united faced each other in the BOV women’s super cup, as the previous two days encounter ended in favor of Birkirkara Fc.
Once again the prolific Ethiopian international Loza Abera was in the spotlight as she guided her new side to their Fifth BOV women’s super cup title.
Loza Abera scored hat-trick at the latter stages of the second half after Ann-Marie Said and Raina Giusti put Birikirkara well ahead in the final.
The Stripes won their fifth super cup title just two cups away from the record holders Hibernians.
This week has been remarkable for Loza as she scored seven past Hibernians days earlier and she has now 20 goals to her name in all competition for her new side.
