Ethiopian Premier League club Dedebit FC revealed a new state of the art team bus in a ceremony held at the Army Officers recreation center this morning. The bus is provided by the EFFORT Investment group subsidiary Sur Construction, and was bought at a cost of 2.3 million birr. The 45 passenger capacity bus is expected to serve Dedebit’s male and female football teams.
The representative of Sur Construction at the ceremony Mr. Tadesse said that his company covered the cost of the vehicle in order to aid the effort of Dedebit FC to transform itself into a truly professional club. The representative also publicized that Sur Construction will continue to work hand in hand with the club.
Dedebit technical director Mr. Michael Amdemeskel on his part said that the relationship between Sur Construction and the club will reach new heights in the coming year evolving into a partnership with the company officially joining Dedebit’s corporate management.
Team captains Birhanu Bogale and Eden Shiferaw were invited to the podium to say a few words representing their teams, and they thanked Sur construction for the gesture of cooperation, and affirmed their desire to make the sponsorship mutually beneficial by winning their respective competitions.
The ceremony was finalized with a photo program involving the management of Dedebit FC and Sur Construction, male and female team players and the club’s fans.
