Game week 6 of the Ethiopian premier league returned after 26 days break, first day action saw Wolaita Dicha and Dire Dawa Ketema sharing the spoils while Fasil Kenema outclass Hambericho.
The clash between Dire Dawa Ketema and Wolaita Dicha at 3pm was the early kickoff where both sides split the points with a one all draw.
Both sides made a single change from their respective starting 11 named in game week 5, the match was of a less footballing spectacle.
In a matche where chances were far and few Biniyam Fikre gave Wolaita Dicha the lead on the 23rd minute while
Second half substitute Temesgen Derese levelled matters for Dire Dawa Ketema to halt their two games losing streak.
The draw meant Wolaita Dicha and Dire Dawa are 9th and 10th in the log with 8 and 5 points respectively.
In the late kickoff Fasil Kenema began where they left off as they outclass new comers Hambericho 3-0.
In what was an early setback for Hambericho their center back Tewodrose Bekele was shown a straight red card in the 8th minute and made the night difficult for them.
Natnael G/Giyorgis Getaneh Kebede and Mingote Debebe were all on target for Fasil Kenema who registerd their fourth clean sheet in the spin.
The win lifted Wubetu Abate’s men in to 2nd spot with 12 points while Hamberich who are yet to win in the top flight remained 14th with only two points.
