The first day action of game week 7 saw spirited Wolaita Dicha shocking Fasil Kenema while Wolkite Ketema registered back to back wins after their poor start to the campaign.
In what was the opening encounter of game week 7 Ame Mohammed’s headed goal proved to the diffrence for Wolkite Ketema at the end of 90 minutes against Hamericho.
In what was a very frustrating afternoon for both sides a late goal from Ame Mohammed meant delight for the workers.
The win meant Wolkite kept their resurgence as they moved into 10th place with 8 points while Hambericho are still in the danger zone with only two points from possible 21.
In the late kickoff Wolaita Dicha claimed all the three points against the mighty Fasil Kemema.
In what would go down as one of the upsets of the season goals in the first half from Zelalem Abate and Biniyam Fikre were enough to seal Dicha’s historic 2-0 victory.
The win lifted Wolaita Dicha into 7th place with 11 points while Fasil remained 4th with 12 points.
